what is it?
Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.

How, Why, When, and Where
Where
Sessions take place in the parish hall on the designated Sundays from 10:15 – 11:15 am.
Process
Teens in 8th Grade will have sessions throughout the year, which teen, parent & sponsor (at certain times) will attend (scheduled in advance). Attendance of Sessions is required, regardless of attendance at Catholic School, and or, Home Schooling.
In addition there will also be a Confirmation Retreat (Mandatory, scheduled in advance), and various service opportunities (see calendar).
Teens are encouraged to attend at least one external Youth Ministry Event (See Justin or Georgann for more details).

Our retreat is an online module. Once your teen is registered in Confirmation, retreat details will be shared.
