what is it?
Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.

How, Why, When, and Where
Where
Sessions take place in the parish hall on the designated Sundays from 10:15 – 11:15 am and or Tuesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm (see calendar)
Process
Teens in 8th Grade will have sessions throughout the year, which teen, parent & sponsor (at certain times) will attend (scheduled in advance). Attendance of Sessions is required, regardless of attendance at Catholic School, and or, Home Schooling.
In addition there will also be a Spring Confirmation Retreat (Mandatory, scheduled in advance), and various service opportunities (see calendar).
Teens are encouraged to attend at least one external Youth Ministry Event (See Justin or Georgann for more details).
Sessions
We are offering two dates for each session to best accommodate everyones schedules. Teens must chose which day, Sunday or Tuesday, they will attend.
Retreat
When and where is the Confirmation Retreat?
The retreat is Saturday, March 15 from 12:00 – 6:00 pm at CTK. Lunch is provided. Retreat ends with Mass.
What if I can not attend the Confirmation Retreat?
The retreat is an integral part of the formation and an opportunity to grow with their peers who share their faith. Please make arrangements to be fully present.
