"Funeral rites are a moment of grace. They help us to express the hope that death is not the end, but a passage to new life in Christ."

Pope Francis
How | Where | What

When a Catholic Christian passes, for those whose faith journey began with baptism and was nourished at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes with confidence, believing that death does not end or break the bonds of love. We offer comfort and God’s Word to those who mourn and celebrate the funeral rites with faith and hope in eternal life.

To prepare for a funeral, please contact Jennifer Marran, Pastoral Associate at 401.783.7459

If a loved one has passed, please call our parish office at 401.783.7459. Father Jared and the staff are here to support you.

Grief is normal, natural, and necessary. When our world changes with a loss, sudden or expected, we need time to adjust. Give yourself permission to grieve and remember that people grieve differently. There is no one right way. Sometimes it helps to share our thoughts and our pain with others. If you desire additional guidance, please note the groups below and/or contact the rectory office at 783-7459.
